Rev. Ed Ayers

Rev. Ed Ayers has been an ordained teaching elder in the PC (USA) for 40 years. Ordained by Greater Atlanta Presbytery, Ed has served churches in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.

A significant portion of ministry has been spent as an evangelist in developing new churches. In addition to ministry, Ed is an instrumentalist and vocalist, having over 55 years of professional music experience in jazz, blues, rock, swing, dance, big band music, classical, musical comedy and opera. He served in the U.S. Army as a director of the Third U.S. Army Chorus and Drum Major of the Third U.S. Army Band at Ft. McPherson, GA. He has also worked as a professional golfer.

Ed’s summary goal for life and ministry is 2nd Corinthians 4:5 – “what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as servants for Christ’s sake.”
